Q: How did you come up with your name?
The word, Pomp, means “magnificent display”. Being that we are primarily and wedding and special event florist, we couldn’t think of a better word to portray what we stood for.

Q: Do you only do weddings?
While weddings and special events are our specialty and bulk of our business, we try our best to fit in orders of all occasions including sympathy arrangements. The earlier you order, the better. Giving us a few days notice will give us plenty of time to order flowers and create your custom Pomp & Bloom arrangement. For those super last minute requests, we try to keep a supply of unique plants such as air plants and succulents in stock.

Q. Do you require a deposit for weddings and events?
A. Yes. In addition to our signed floral agreement, a non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. 

Q: Do I need an appointment to talk to you about my wedding
Yes. Just send us an email and we will get right back to you with available dates and times. We typically schedule consultations on Tuesday and Wednesday, but we are flexible and will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Q: Do you travel for weddings in other cities?
Absolutely! While the majority of our weddings and events take place in Columbus, Indianapolis and Bloomington, we love to travel! We have flowered weddings as far as Cincinnati, Ohio, Charleston, South Carolina and Dallas, Texas. Any and all locations are considered!

Q: How do I find out about your flower classes and workshops?
We post upcoming classes on our social media pages…Facebook and Instagram. Not feeling social? Feel free to give us a call or email to inquire about class dates. You can also book your own private class with 5 or more of your friends.

Q: Do you have pre-made arrangements ready for purchase?
No, all orders must be placed in advance. We carefully consider each order that we have and the person that will be receiving it. We order the flowers based on the occasion and the recipients unique personality

Q: Can I join the flower club at anytime, or only in January?
You can sign up at anytime during the year!

Q: Do you work with artificial flowers?
No, only beautiful fresh blooms and plants here.

Q: What are your business hours?
We do not have set business hours. Appointments are necessary to discuss your upcoming wedding or event. You may schedule an appointment by emailing us. Of course, if you happen catch us at the studio, feel free to come in and say hi!
